Independent Guide
My name is Captain David and I am owner/operator of my own charter company. I was born and raised on the space coast in Cocoa Beach and I have been fishing & surfing since I was very young. I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to travel around the world and experience fishing and surfing in many great locations. I spent 12 years living in Hawaii and in 2006, I moved back to Florida's Space Coast to raise my family. I have worked as a firefighter paramedic with Brevard county fire rescue for over 17 years. I am currently fishing full time as a charter captain on the space coast of Florida running trips from Port Canaveral to Sebastian inlet. I offer inshore trips in the Banana River and Indian River. I also offer near shore and offshore trips in the Atlantic Ocean. I love fishing and I enjoy sharing the passion for fishing with others. Some days catching comes easy and other days it can be challenging. Being the owner/operator of my business, I can promise you that I will work hard to put you on fish. I invite you to come on out to the Space Coast and see what our fishery has to offer!

How did you get started guiding?
I had wanted to be a guide since I was a young kid and just never had a chance to do it. Back in 2018, I finally had an opportunity to attend Sea School and get my Captain's license. I had several friends who were guides and they were very encouraging for me to also be a guide. Once I got my captain's license I started running inshore & nearshore charters out of my 1997 Hewes Red Fisher flats boat.
What makes you different from other guides?
I think that one thing that helps me stand out from other guides is that I worked for the Ritz-Carlton hotel company on Maui for 10 years and I understand the importance of good customer service. I strive to treat my customers with the utmost respect and care while on a charter in order to provide a quality fishing experience for my clients. I am also the owner/operator of my company and I want to make sure to keep a good reputation in the fishing industry.
