Families
are welcome, and kids can join in the fun! Check ahead about the availability of child-sized life vests, or bring your own. Don’t forget to pack snacks, though Captain Tyler will have some on board for you!

Your trip will take place on an 18’ Maverick flats boat, accommodating up to 3 passengers. The boat is fully equipped with rods, reels, tackle, and lures. Live bait is included, but it’s a good idea to confirm whether you’ll be catching it during the trip.

The charter covers your fishing license, so you can simply focus on enjoying the experience! Be aware that certain fish may need to be released due to regulations. Your captain can provide more details on this. Bring along sunblock (non-spray) and sunglasses. Drinks are included, and alcohol is allowed in moderation, though avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Light snacks will also be provided on board.

I have been fishing Flamingo and the Florida Keys since I was in 8th grade. I first fell in love with fishing when I was in elementary school. As I grew up I was able to learn how to become a better angler over the years. I started out fishing for blue gills at the end of the road and slowly worked my way up the list of gamefish. I am excited to show people my passion for fishing and a once in a lifetime adventure into the Everglades.

I run my fishing charters out of a 18’4″ Maverick HPX-Varis powered by a 115 HP Yamaha SHO. This is my boat of choice for a variety of reasons. This boat has tons of space, making it ideal for anglers to bring what they need while not getting cluttered on the deck. This boat is very sturdy, this makes navigating around the vessel a lot easier with minimum chances for accidents. This boat has a large livewell, making it great for storing live mullet, shrimp, ladyfish, crabs, etc. The 4 stroke 115 Yamaha provides a great ride when going from spot to spot making it easy to relocate without losing valuable time on the water. Finally, this boat still gets extremely shallow for its size. This is extremely important as it leaves a ton of opportunities for fishing still on the table.
