About Your Trip

If you plan on fishing on the Oregon Coast, look no further. Captain Bryan will be your guide, allowing you to benefit from years of professional experience. We launch from Lincoln City, on the Siletz River.

This trip is for a combo Salmon Fishing & Crabbing excursion for a half-day or full-day. Required will be fishing licenses for fishing and shellfish.

These waters are known for a variety of Salmon, Dungeness Crab and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few! For these species, you’re likely to drift and bottom fish using light tackle within a couple of miles of the Ocean.

We offer 4 hour and 8 hour trips. Sometimes they will be shorter when we hit our limit. Launching from our personal dock on the lower Siletz River is conveniently located just a few minutes South of Lincoln City. The area is mostly private and safe for our vehicles. We have many local recommendations for dining, shopping and places to stay for your trip. Don't hesitate to ask!

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

We run a 26’ Alumaweld Columbia fishing vessel with space for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. At times, if you book a trip for 2 or 4, group trips will likely be offered and they are a blast!

You will need to purchase a local fishing and/or shellfish license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the guide. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Remember to wear shoes with good traction, and warm clothing in case of inclement weather. You can’t go wrong when you bring your camera, sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I am Bryan, your fishing guide! I operate out of Lincoln City, primarily on the Siletz River. I have been fishing for as long as I can remember and now my goal is to share my love of fishing with everyone. I've got a 26" Alumaweld boat that seats up to six people. I typically take out groups of 2-6 people and some of the trips are shared. If you've got a single or just two, please let me know and i will fit you in! I use some technology to get us on the fish and it pays off! We have been catching while others are fishing.

When you book with me, you can expect everything to be taken care of and to have the time of your life. All you have to do ahead is get your fishing license, wear good traction shoes and a jacket, and show up! We love what we do and the fish can feel it.

Everything Else to Know

Good traction shoes, dress in layers and always pack a waterproof jacket and/or pants. Snacks, drinks, blankets and hats are always a good idea too. Remember to inquire about kids life vests...bring your own is a bonus!

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

We love the Oregon Coast and have never had much luck fishing until today. Our 10-year-old caught two salmon, and we took home three along with crabs for dinner. Bryan was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great teacher. The river is beautiful, and the whole experience was so much fun for our family. We went home with cleaned fish and crabs ready to cook. It doesn’t get better than fresh seafood while staying at the coast.

When I moved to Oregon from Chicago 3 years ago, one of the “must do’s” was catch my first fish. Thanks to the instruction and encouragement from Captain Bryan, the fruits of this Labor Day trip resulted in reeling in a 17 lb salmon. I was thrilled. Our final cache for the day-one super salmon and 17 crab. Highly recommend this trip for to beauty of the bay, peek at the ocean, and a great combination of fishing and crabbing. We’ve already planned an ocean Coho trip on return. Captain Bryan was the perfect combination of encouraging, entertaining, and an excellent teacher. Counting the days until we can do it again!
