You’ll be fishing aboard a 22’ New Water Ibis, one of the best flats boats around. It’s roomy enough for up to four anglers, and its flush deck makes it easy to hop in and out for wade fishing. Whether you’re sight casting for trophy Redfish or chasing down Speckled Trout, Captain Xavier’s boat is perfectly designed for navigating the skinny waters of the Laguna Madre. Plus, it’s fully equipped with top-of-the-line gear from Penn and Temple Fork Outfitters, so you’ll have everything you need for a productive day on the water.

Captain Xavier provides all the rods, reels, lures, and tackle, as well as bottled water and ice to keep you comfortable during the trip. All you need to bring is your valid Texas Saltwater fishing license, and if you’d like, some snacks, drinks, and sun protection. Don’t forget polarized sunglasses—they’ll help you spot fish in the flats, especially when you’re sight casting.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Xavier will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
