About Your Trip

Kick off your adventure at first light with Captain Ben, one of the most experienced and passionate guides in Washington! From the moment you meet at your chosen boat launch, you’ll feel the excitement building as Ben walks you through a quick meet and greet, safety briefing, and the game plan for the day. He’ll cover everything from fishing techniques to gear presentations, so you’re set to make the most of the day on the water.

Your ride for the day is a 24’ Alumaweld aluminum jet sled, designed to navigate Washington’s finest fisheries with ease. Whether you’re gliding down scenic rivers or cruising across serene lakes, this vessel comfortably accommodates up to six passengers, making it perfect for a family day out. It’s fully equipped with downriggers, rods, reels, and top-of-the-line tackle, so you’re covered no matter the fishing method. Whether you're spinning, trolling, jigging, or trying a more specialized local technique, Ben has the right gear and the expertise to put you on fish.

Ben’s lifelong experience on the water—from the Bering Sea down to the Columbia River—means you’re in incredibly capable hands. With a Coast Guard Captain’s License and First Aid/CPR certification, he’s the perfect guide to ensure a safe and memorable trip. As you spend around 8 hours on the water, he’ll work hard to fill your catch cards while showing you some of the most breathtaking fishing spots Washington has to offer.

Looking to bring the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Just be sure to ask about child-sized life vests or bring your own if needed. And don’t forget to pack some snacks to keep those energy levels high throughout the day!

Once the lines are in the water, it’s all about the thrill of the catch. Depending on the season and the area, you might be targeting Salmon, Steelhead, or even something more specialized to the region. Ben is always happy to share tips, tricks, and techniques to help everyone—whether you're a seasoned angler or a first-timer—improve your skills.

At the end of the day, you’ll return to the dock, where Ben will clean and process your catch so it’s ready to take home and enjoy. Snap some photos and swap stories before you head home, with a cooler full of fresh fish and memories that will last a lifetime.

Just a quick note: you’ll need to grab a local fishing license for each person in your group before the trip. Some species may have seasonal restrictions or require special tags, so make sure you’re informed ahead of time.

Whether you're here for a relaxing day with the family or you're a die-hard angler chasing your next big catch, Captain Ben is ready to give you an unforgettable experience on Washington’s incredible waters!
