The day's fishing typically takes place 15 to 30 miles offshore, with the exact destination determined by a variety of factors including water temperature, water clarity, recent catch reports, bait concentrations, and sea conditions. Captain Stewart closely monitors these variables to ensure you're fishing the most productive areas available, giving you the best opportunity for a successful day on the water.

Trolling allows the crew to cover large stretches of ocean while targeting a wide variety of pelagic predators. Depending on the season and conditions, you may have the opportunity to hook into King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Barracuda, and other exciting offshore species. Each fish brings its own challenge, from the blistering runs of a King Mackerel to the acrobatic leaps of a Mahi and the brute strength of an Amberjack.

One of the most exciting aspects of trolling is the anticipation that comes with every pass. The next strike can happen at any moment, often resulting in screaming drags and fast-paced action as anglers work together to bring fish to the boat. With multiple lines in the water and a variety of techniques employed throughout the day, there's always a chance for something memorable to show up behind the spread.

Captain Stewart was born and raised in Wilmington, NC. He began offshore fishing at the age of 12 and started mating professionally at 19. Stewart obtained his Capt License in 2010. He started his own outfit in 2014.

"I love fishing for everything, but would consider my specialty to be bottom fishing (grouper/snappers). Whether its hunting or fishing my number one goal is for the group to have an enjoyable and memorable experience, so they’ll come back again. I especially like seeing kids on the boat, there's no describing the feeling when you see a kid catch their first fish. I try to be 100% professional at all times."

With a lifetime of fishing and hunting experience, Captain Stewart knows what it takes to have a successful outing. He offers duck hunting in the winter and Morehead City fishing charters & Atlantic Beach fishing charters in the spring, summer and fall. All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
