About Your Trip

Get ready for an unforgettable day of fishing on Lake Michigan with Captain Tony! Based out of South Haven, Captain Tony is your go-to guide for world-class trolling trips, targeting some of the lake’s most exciting fish. Whether you’re after Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout, Brown Trout, or the legendary King Salmon, Captain Tony knows how to get you on the bite and give you a thrilling day on the water.

You’ll be fishing
from a spacious 33’ Trojan that’s built for comfort and performance. With room for up to six anglers, a full restroom on board, and all the gear you’ll need, this boat is set up to make your day enjoyable and productive. Captain Tony specializes in 5-hour trolling trips, perfect for covering plenty of water and finding the best spots to hook into something big. Depending on the season and conditions, he’ll tailor your trip to target the species that are most active, so there’s always a good chance for action!

Captain Tony and his experienced first mate are there to make sure everyone on board has a great time, no matter your skill level. They’ll handle the gear, help with technique, and make sure you’re set up to land a big one. With their guidance, you’ll have the chance to reel in some of Lake Michigan’s most prized catches, from fast Coho to hard-fighting King Salmon.

The trip includes all the rods, reels, and tackle you’ll need, so just bring your fishing license and anything you’d like to eat or drink. And if you land a keeper, you’re welcome to take it home—Captain Tony encourages you to keep all legal catches, so you’ll leave with memories and possibly a fresh fillet or two. The crew works hard to make your trip smooth and enjoyable, so tips for good service are always appreciated.

Kids ages 7 and up are welcome aboard, making this a great adventure for families looking to create lasting memories. Just make sure to arrive at the dock 30 minutes before your scheduled departure so you can get settled in and ready to go.

Don’t miss your chance to experience the thrill of Lake Michigan fishing with one of the area’s best captains. Book your trip with Captain Tony and get ready for a fantastic day on the water!

Captain Tony has his Merchant Mariner Masters license with the US Coast Guard. He grew up in Michigan and has always had a love for the lake. At three years old, he was toddling around the ice or floating in a little tin boat, fishing with his dad and grandfathers. At 10, he was introduced to big lake fishing on a charter with Captain Chuck out of South Haven. Before owning his own boat, he could be found walking to a shoreline or a river bank to fish whenever he could get the chance. By 16, he had his own boat and loved to hop around from lake to lake. Captain Tony also worked in the restaurant industry for five years, there he learned the best ways to prepare his daily catch. After fishing Lake Michigan for the past ten years, he decided to become a Captain to share his love of the lake with the rest of the world.

Come aboard Lured Inn and pick Captain Tony's brain about the catch AND how to prepare it!
