About Your Trip

Head out on Lake Michigan with Captain Jacob for a 5-hour trolling adventure out of South Haven! Depending on the season and conditions, you'll target Chinook salmon, Coho salmon, steelhead, lake trout, and brown trout while exploring the open waters of the big lake.

Captain Jacob and his first mate will handle the trolling setup, using downriggers and other techniques to work different depths and locate feeding fish. Whether you're an experienced angler or trying big lake fishing for the first time, the crew will help you get in on the action when a rod goes off. Choose between morning and evening departures to fit your schedule.

You'll be fishing aboard a 27' Tiara sportfishing boat with room for up to six guests. Powered by twin Mercruiser engines, the boat features GPS, a fishfinder, downriggers, and an onboard restroom for added convenience. All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are provided, and the crew will clean, fillet, and vacuum-seal your catch when you return to the dock.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
