From May through September, we’ll focus on California Halibut, one of the most sought-after species in these waters. These flat, powerful fish are famous for their tasty filets and hard-hitting bites, making them a blast to catch. Captain Joe knows all the best spots to find Halibut, from sandy flats to the deeper pockets of the Bay where these elusive bottom-dwellers like to hide. Get ready to feel that signature tug as a big Halibut strikes, and brace yourself for the challenge of reeling it in—these fish don’t give up easily! Captain Joe and his crew will set you up with the right bait and gear to maximize your chances, so all you have to do is enjoy the fight.

From October through April, we shift gears to target Delta Striped Bass, one of the most exciting game fish around. Known for their powerful runs and aggressive strikes, Stripers make every fishing trip a true adventure. Captain Joe will take you to the heart of the Delta, where these fish migrate during the cooler months, making it prime time for hooking into a trophy-sized Striper. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or new to fishing, Captain Joe’s expertise and guidance will ensure you’re in the best position to land these strong, feisty fish. And with the gorgeous Delta scenery as your backdrop, the experience is as rewarding as the catch.

Throughout the year, Captain Joe and his crew take care of everything you need for a successful day on the water. All we need YOU to bring is your valid **California Fishing license, and any food or drinks you would like to enjoy throughout the day!
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
