About Your Trip

Western north carolina we have a ton of water to choose from to accommodate where you are staying. Most rivers will range from 45 minutes to an hour away. Some of my personal favorites are the nantahala river near Bryson city, the raven fork river in Cherokee, and the east fork of the French broad in Brevard.

Depending on the time of the year and conditions, we throw a variety of techniques including dry dropping, euro nymphing, streamer, and dry fly when the opportunity presents its self. If you are looking to get out and catch as many fish as possible, euro nymphing is going to be for you. With no fly line and just a thin monofiliment, you are able to lift all line off the water and get a perfect drag free presentation to the fish every time. Dry dropping is my personal favorite, being essentially glorified bobber fishing its very easy to get the hang of and still gives you the chance to catch a fish on top water while nymphing. If hunting for one big fish all day is your thing, streamer fishing for big wild brown trout will be for you. Spring and early summer will have the best bug activity, and the opportunity to catch rising fish on top water. With rivers loaded with caddis and mayflies, if catching fish on dry flies is for you we can make that happen.

Any part of the trip is customizable, we are here to accommodate for your plans. If there's a certain technique you want to work on at a certain time of the day, we can make that work for you.

Im extremely patient and understanding with getting tangled and messing up. I love working with kids and giving them the same experience I had that meant so much to me. I specialize in the competitive style of fly fishing that is much more effective. I have 4 years of tournament fishing experience competing at the highest level.

Everything Else to Know

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
