About Your Trip

If fishing for Red Snapper in the Gulf of Mexico is on your bucket list, Captain Randy is ready to make your dream a reality! Red Snapper season is one of the most exciting times of the year, and these vibrant, hard-fighting fish offer some of the best action you’ll find in the Gulf. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or bringing the family along for their first big fishing trip, this exclusive Red Snapper fishing adventure is designed to give you an unforgettable day on the water.

The Gulf is renowned for its Red Snapper fishery, and Captain Randy knows just where to find them. He’ll take you to nearby rigs and productive bottom-fishing spots where these prized fish love to congregate. Using techniques like bottom fishing with light or heavy tackle, you’ll have the chance to reel in these beautiful, hard-pulling fish. With Captain Randy’s expertise and guidance, you’ll maximize your time on the water and increase your chances of landing a trophy-sized Snapper.

This trip is perfect for families looking to make memories together. Young anglers are more than welcome, and Captain Randy loves introducing kids to the thrill of fishing for Red Snapper. Be sure to ask about child-sized life vests, or bring your own for the best fit. Packing snacks for the little ones is always a smart move to keep everyone energized and happy during the adventure.

You’ll be fishing aboard Captain Randy’s 28’ Triton center console, an offshore fishing boat designed with comfort and safety in mind. The boat features tall sides so everyone can fish securely, and its 360-degree fishing deck provides ample room for up to five passengers to drop lines at the same time. With a restroom on board, your family can stay comfortable throughout the trip.

Captain Randy provides everything you need for your exclusive Red Snapper trip, including rods, reels, and lures. The charter covers your fishing license, so you can focus on the fun without worrying about paperwork. Once your lines are in the water, get ready for some serious action—Red Snapper are known for their strong fights and are guaranteed to put a bend in your rod! At the end of your trip, Captain Randy will clean and fillet your catch, so you’ll leave with fresh Snapper ready for the grill or your favorite recipe.

Make sure to bring bottled water, non-spray sunblock, and sunglasses for a comfortable day on the water. You’re welcome to bring along your favorite beverages as well—just avoid glass bottles and hard liquor for safety. Snacks are always a great idea to keep everyone fueled for the adventure ahead.

Fishing with Captain Randy is more than just a trip; it’s an opportunity to experience the Gulf’s incredible Red Snapper season and create lasting memories with your family and friends. The thrill of battling these vibrant fish and the satisfaction of bringing home a delicious haul make this an experience you’ll never forget.

Captain Randy and Lacy were beyond amazing. I brought my family out on an 5 hour nearshore charter. Unfortunately, within the first hour we had 2/5 of the family seasick. He offered to bring us back to shore. We took him up on it. I figured that was it for the trip. I was wrong. We were able to make arrangements on the way in and the 2 that were sick were able to get back home and get some rest. We stopped briefly to use the restroom and turned right back out. We headed out further to a different rig where we were immediately into fish. I honestly can not tell you how many fish my 6 and 13 year old kids caught. In addition to a cooler full of fish, we saw a shark, lots of dolphins and a sea turtle. To cap it off, on the way back there was a squall that spawned a water spout. We got lots of pictures and memories from the trip. Captain Randy’s website says he caters to kids and families, this is one of the rare ones that went so much further than what they advertised. If you have young ones, look no further! Conditions were rough, but he worked to put us on fish and made sure that the kids caught fish and had fun. My 6 year old literally fished until her eyes rolled back and she fell asleep. This was our first trip here, but it will not be our last. Thank you so much!

Captain Randy stayed right with him helping him get his hook baited and back in the water every cast and then cleaned the fish we kept so we could take them down the road and have them cooked up for lunch. It was an experience we will be talking about for years. We can't wait to come back and do it again!
