This fully equipped vessel is designed for comfort, range, and serious fishing capability, giving you everything needed for a productive day targeting some of the Gulf’s most sought-after reef and wreck species.

On this offshore charter, you’ll run from Destin out to productive reefs and wrecks where Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, and Amberjack are commonly found. These structure-rich fishing grounds hold steady populations of hard-fighting and excellent-eating fish, and every drop offers the chance at something exciting.

Captain Brandon will build the day around conditions, adjusting techniques to match current, wind, and fish behavior. Depending on what’s working best, you may be free-lining live bait over structure, fishing cut bait on the bottom, vertical jigging with high-speed or slow-pitch setups, drifting natural baits through the water column, or working topwater lures when fish are actively feeding near the surface. This flexible approach keeps the bite active and gives anglers multiple ways to hook up throughout the trip.

The Cape Horn 31T provides a stable and capable offshore platform, allowing anglers to comfortably fish a variety of depths and conditions. Whether you are new to offshore fishing or an experienced angler, Captain Brandon supplies the gear, knowledge, and support needed to maximize your time on the water.

Your trip includes rods, reels, bait, fishing licenses, and fuel, making for a straightforward and all-inclusive offshore experience. Pricing covers 1 to 4 anglers, with room for up to 6 total guests available for an additional fee for the 5th and 6th anglers. At the conclusion of your trip, your catch can be cleaned and filleted, making it easy to take home fresh Gulf seafood or choose a catch-and-release experience depending on regulations and preference.

Capt. Brandon was born and raised in East St. Louis, IL. There he started freshwater fishing for bass, crappie, and catfish with his father around the age of 5.

In 2009 he became a member of the U.S Air Force, and soon after was stationed at Hurlburt Field in Fort Walton Beach, Fl. It was then he experienced his first taste of Saltwater fishing and never looked back. Beginning with surf and pier fishing, he soon graduated to the world of offshore fishing and it has been his passion ever since. His excursions have taken him all over the Panhandle, down to the Florida keys, and even the Bahamas.

Capt. Brandon specializes in bottom/reef fishing for Snappers, Groupers, and Amberjacks, but is also well versed with the Pelagic Species (Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, King Mackerel, etc..).

Capt. Brandon is fully certified through the United States Coast Guard. He will ensure a safe and excellent time, filled with plenty of fun, laughs, and jokes. The excitement and happiness that customers get when they're catching fish is what fuels every trip for him. Customers of all ages will have a safe and memorable experience that will be ever lasting.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
