About Your Trip

If you find something you love and make a living doing it, you’ll never work a day in your life. That’s been my story with fishing. My passion began as a kid learning to catfish from my Pawpaw at the dam in Granbury, TX. Watching him work his magic with the rod and reel, I soaked up every lesson. He was the best fisherman I ever knew, and I’ve carried those memories with me my whole life.

For over 20 years, I’ve been sharing my love for fishing as a guide, and I’m now blessed to do this full-time. But for me, it’s about more than just catching fish. It’s about building connections, helping people unwind, laugh, and feel a sense of joy on the water. My goal is to show Jesus to every person who steps on my boat, so when they step off, they feel valued, important and loved.

This trip is focused on catching Trophy Blue Catfish, a bucket-list experience for anglers. You’ll be fishing aboard my 2025 state-of-the-art 24ft Blazer Bay fishing boat, powered by a 300 HP Yamaha motor and equipped with the latest electronics. I use Whisker Seeker rods and gear, ensuring you have the best tools for landing these massive fish.

We’ll fish until we reach the limit or time is up. Once we’re back at the dock, we’ll take pictures of your trophy catch to commemorate the day. I’ll also handle cleaning and bagging your fish, so you leave with fresh fillets and great memories.

Whether you’re an experienced angler or a first-timer, I can’t wait to guide you on an unforgettable adventure for Trophy Blue Catfish on Lake Texoma.

Lake Texoma is known for its abundance of Stripers and world class Blue cat fishing. This lake held the world record Blue cat until recently beaten, 121 pounds her name was Splash.

Texoma has an abundance of places to stay with TangleWood resort being one of them.

We fish year round with springtime being our favorite time to chase big blues in shallow water, stripers feeding frenzies daily.

My goal for each trip is to make memories for my clients, repeat customers are considered part of the family and I look forward to seeing them each time. Come visit me and make some memories of your own and join our family of fishermen!

Honestly, my outward walk with Jesus. Not that other guides are not Christians and I’m not slamming anyone, this is what I’ve been told about myself from clients, friends and other guides. That’s why I named my guide service,” Creator’s Guide Service” he’s my creator and I’m guided for His service. I don’t push my Jesus on anyone, I just live openly what I believe in my heart. He truly is my Lord and Savior and a difference maker in my life.

You will be responsible for your own gear. Terry will be in touch to discuss details before the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
