About Your Trip

Step aboard with Captain Cullen for an unforgettable inshore and nearshore fishing adventure in the scenic waters of St. Augustine! Whether you’re sight-casting Redfish, working an artificial lure for Speckled Trout, or battling a Tarpon in season, this trip is tailored to anglers of all skill levels.

You’ll be fishing from an 18’ skiff—light, maneuverable, and built for accessing the expansive marshes, winding creeks, and oyster-lined flats where Redfish, Trout, Flounder, and Jacks thrive. The
miles of spartina grass provide prime feeding grounds, while shell bank drop-offs and dock structures create ambush points for hungry gamefish.

Depending on the season, you’ll experience St. Augustine’s best fishing opportunities. Winter and early spring offer crystal-clear waters for epic sight fishing, while late spring and fall bring the legendary flood tides—when Redfish tail in the shallows, giving you heart-pounding shots just feet away!

Captain Cullen will have you fishing with fly gear, light tackle, topwater, and artificial lures, adjusting to the conditions and your experience level.

This trip is kid- and disability-friendly and includes water, snacks, and a cooler with ice. You’re welcome to bring your own gear—just let the captain know in advance. Bluetooth music is available, and you can bring beer (no glass bottles, please).

At the end of the day, Captain Cullen will clean your catch if you choose to keep it within regulations, though catch-and-release is encouraged.

All you need is sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen—no spray cans), weather-appropriate clothing, and any extra food or drinks.

Whether you're a seasoned angler or just looking for a fun day on the water, this trip delivers. Book now and get ready for an unforgettable St. Augustine fishing experience!

Being born and raised in Florida, I’ve nearly spent my life on the water. Being born and raised in Florida, I’ve nearly spent my life on the water. Fun and progression are often the focus of my trips as I believe each time on the water should better everyone in some way, whether in skill, knowledge, or both. With years of experience and expansive knowledge of the fishery, I am happy to show what’s out there and have a great time.
