These 4, 5, and 6-hour trips are perfect for anglers looking to stay closer to shore while still getting in on steady action and a wide variety of species.

You’ll be targeting a mix of reef favorites including Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Sheepshead, and Grunt, with chances at Cobia, Amberjack, Kingfish, Barracuda, and even Blacktip Sharks depending on the season. There’s always something biting on these nearshore structures, making this a great option for both beginners and experienced anglers alike.

Fishing techniques will vary based on conditions, but most trips focus on bottom fishing over reefs and wrecks, with opportunities to mix in trolling, drifting, and spinning when the bite calls for it. Captain John will help tailor the approach to your group and keep you on productive spots throughout the trip.

These trips are well-suited for families and anglers of all experience levels, including kids. It’s a great way to get out on the water without committing to a full offshore day, while still having a strong chance at bringing home fresh fish.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 34’ Sea Craft center console, restored in 2024 and powered by twin 300HP Mercury engines. The boat comfortably accommodates up to 6 anglers and is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, radar, outriggers, and a live bait well to keep you on the fish.

All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are included. When available, live bait will be netted, and shrimp is also provided as part of the trip. Your catch will be cleaned and bagged at the end of the trip so it’s ready to take home.

Fishing licenses are covered, so there’s no need to purchase one ahead of time. Be sure to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, snacks, and drinks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid glass bottles and hard liquor. A 20% tip for the mate is customary and appreciated for their help throughout the trip.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
