About Your Trip

Join us for an exciting Musky fishing adventure in Northwest Wisconsin, where each trip is tailored to give you the best possible shot at landing the fish of a lifetime. Whether you’re casting, trolling, or fishing with live bait when the water cools, these trips are designed to adapt to the season and conditions, ensuring a well-planned and rewarding experience.

During the warmer months, Musky fishing is all about casting or trolling, covering water to
trigger aggressive strikes from these apex predators. As the water temperatures drop to 55 degrees—typically in October—live bait fishing comes into play, offering a different and often highly effective way to target these elusive giants. With the right approach, patience, and technique, you’ll have a chance to hook into one of Wisconsin’s most prized freshwater species.

Lake trips take place aboard a Ranger 620VS, powered by a 250 HP Mercury outboard and outfitted with top-tier Minnkota, Humminbird, and Garmin electronics to keep you dialed in on the best Musky waters. River trips are run from either a 16’ Hyde Drift Boat or an 18’ Center Console Jet Drive, allowing for precise boat positioning and a stealthy approach in moving water.

All necessary gear is provided, including rods, reels, lures, and live bait when in season. Your guide also supplies bottled water, digital photos of your catches, and fish cleaning if applicable. If you need lodging recommendations, assistance is available to help plan your stay.

A valid Wisconsin fishing license is required, and if you're fishing the Great Lakes, a stamp may be necessary. Be sure to bring appropriate clothing, rain gear, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, and bug spray. Packing your preferred food and beverages is always a good idea, and as with any Musky trip, a patient and determined mindset goes a long way.

Musky fishing is often referred to as "the fish of 10,000 casts," but with an experienced guide, the right techniques, and a well-thought-out plan, you’ll have the best possible chance at putting a true trophy in the net. Whether you’re a seasoned Musky hunter or new to the chase, this trip offers a great opportunity to experience the thrill of targeting one of freshwater’s most sought-after predators.
