On this trip, you'll head far off the coast into the warm, nutrient-rich waters of the Gulf Stream, where anything can happen and every bite could be the fish of a lifetime....

This full-day, 12-hour offshore adventure is designed for anglers looking to get deep into blue water and put heavy tackle to the test. On this trip, you'll head far off the coast into the warm, nutrient-rich waters of the Gulf Stream, where anything can happen and every bite could be the fish of a lifetime.

You’ll be fishing aboard a spacious 42’ sportfishing vessel that’s dialed in for offshore performance and passenger comfort. Outriggers, downriggers, radar, GPS, a fighting chair, and a full suite of electronics make this boat a serious fishing machine. There’s plenty of room for up to six anglers to spread out and settle in, and amenities like air conditioning, a kitchen, a refrigerator, multimedia system, a toilet, and even a bed help keep you comfortable for the long haul.

As you hit the deep blue, trolling is often the name of the game. Expect to pull spreads rigged for fast, hard-hitting pelagics like Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna, and the prized Billfish trio—Blue Marlin, White Marlin, and Sailfish. When conditions allow, you might also bottom fish the ledges and drops for species like Gag Grouper, Vermilion Snapper, and Gray Triggerfish. These waters are known for their variety and unpredictability, so you never quite know what might show up in the spread.

Captain Lathan and his crew will catch fresh live bait before you arrive, making sure everything is ready to go as soon as you step on board. All rods, reels, lures, and tackle are provided, and you’ll have a professional First Mate on board to assist throughout the day. From setting lines to helping fight big fish, they’ll make sure your day runs smoothly—just remember, a 20% tip for the mate is customary and always appreciated.

Fishing licenses are fully covered by the charter, and Captain Lathan will guide you through all regulations for the species you encounter, including what you can keep. These trips are kid-friendly too, but children must wear their own USCG-approved life vests. Don’t forget to pack sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, snacks, and drinks to keep you fueled for the full day offshore. Alcohol is welcome in moderation—just no glass bottles, please.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
