Join Captain Steven for one of the most unique and exciting seasonal adventures on the Florida Gulf Coast, the underwater scallop “Easter egg hunt.” This trip is all about getting in the water, exploring crystal-clear seagrass flats, and hand-picking fresh bay scallops while enjoying the incredible marine life that calls these waters home.

Once you arrive at the scalloping grounds, you’ll slip into the shallow, clear water with your snorkeling gear and begin searching the seagrass beds for scallops hiding just below the surface. It feels like an underwater treasure hunt, where every dive brings the chance to spot and collect more of these delicious shellfish. While you’re swimming and searching, you’ll also get to experience the natural beauty of the Gulf, with opportunities to see a wide variety of fish and wildlife along the way.

Guests are asked to bring their own snorkeling equipment for comfort and fit, along with a cooler to store their scallops after the trip. Mesh bags are provided for collecting scallops while you’re in the water, making it easy to keep your catch organized throughout the day.

At the end of the trip, you’ll return to shore with your fresh harvest, and there are local options available to help clean and prepare your scallops so they’re ready to take home and enjoy. It’s a true ocean-to-table experience that makes the adventure even more rewarding.

You will be responsible for your own gear. Steven will be in touch to discuss details before the trip. Arrangements can be made if equipment is needed just let me know and we can talk about are options

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Steven was a pleasure to spend a day with. We caught plenty of fish throughout the day in a variety of different spots. He was well prepared with water and powerade on a hot summer day. His boat and equipment were more than adequate as well as an abundance of bait for the day. Would recommend Steven for anyone looking to get out and catch some fish!

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
