About Your Trip

**Crappie Fishing Adventure on Lake O’ the Pines**

Join us for a 5-hour crappie fishing trip on the beautiful Lake O’ the Pines, nestled in East Texas, just a quick 20-30 minute drive from Longview or Marshall. We’ll launch from the boat ramp around 7:00 AM (though I’m flexible on timing), and spend the day chasing crappie across the lake’s prime fishing grounds. As a veteran-owned business, I bring a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to ensure
you get the most out of every minute on the water, hitting brush piles and timber where the fish thrive.

I’m your guide, using advanced livescope sonar to pinpoint crappie hotspots with precision, paired with classic techniques like jigs and live minnows—all bait and tackle provided. You’ll fish from my 21 ft pontoon boat, custom-designed for comfort with ample space to move, stable decking, and features like rod holders and a livewell to keep your catch fresh. It’s just us on the water, keeping the experience personal and tailored to you. Bring your cooler for filets, drinks, and snacks, and settle in for a relaxing yet productive day on this roomy, fisherman-friendly pontoon.

What makes us unique? It’s the combo of military precision, top-tier tech, and a passion for crappie fishing, all served up on a comfy pontoon that feels like a floating lounge. Customize your trip by picking a preferred start time or focusing on a specific lake area—just ask! While lodging and meals aren’t included, I can point you to local gems to enhance your visit. Whether you’re new to fishing or a seasoned pro, I’ll adapt the trip to your pace, blending the thrill of the catch with the laid-back vibe of Lake O’ the Pines. Book todayand experience crappie fishing at its finest!

After serving 5 years in the Navy, I traded my sea legs for a life on the lake, and now I share my passion with folks like you. My wife and our 8-year-old son keep me grounded, but out on my 21 ft pontoon boat—designed for comfort—I’m in my element, using livescope and trusty jigs to make your 5-hour trip unforgettable. I’d love to help you fill your cooler and enjoy a day on the water—book with me and let’s fish together!

How did you get started guiding?
My buddy Marty Thomas is one of the best guides pines has ever seen. After fishing with him over the years he told me I had a knack for guiding and should give it a shot, through his mentorship the rest is history!
What makes you different from other guides?
I’m not in it to make money. I’m an air traffic controller Monday-Thursday and make a good living. A lot of guides I know are trying to feed their family which puts tons of pressure on them and can take some of the enjoyment out of the trip. I do it because it’s an absolute pleasure to take people out for a fun day on the lake and catch some fish!
