About Your Trip

Get ready for a full day of adventure on the legendary Sea of Cortez, just an hour south of La Paz. Your trip begins with hotel pick-up in La Paz and a scenic 37-mile (60 km) drive to Ensenada de los Muertos—also known as Bahía de los Sueños. Once there, you’ll board a well-equipped offshore fishing boat and head into one of Baja’s richest fishing grounds.

You’ll be fishing using a mix of trolling, casting, and bottom fishing techniques depending on the season and your target species. The stars of the show include marlin, yellowfin tuna, dorado, sailfish, and wahoo offshore, with options to go after roosterfish, amberjack, snapper, and grouper nearshore. Whether you’re chasing a trophy billfish or filling the cooler with delicious table fish, our captain and crew know where to take you and how to put you on the bite.

Your trip includes a professional local captain and mate, plus a boat outfitted with everything you need: shade, quality gear, coolers with ice, safety equipment, and plenty of fuel to chase fish all day. Snacks and drinks are provided, and we can arrange lunch if requested. Our team is happy to clean your catch, and for a true Baja experience, we can help you take it to a local restaurant where it will be prepared fresh, Baja-style.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Fidel will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
