About Your Trip

On this trip, you'll launch from the Freeport Marina on board Captain Steve's 36' Cape Horn! She's equipped with triple Mercury 350s for a smooth ride offshore. This sleek sportfishing vessel can host up to six people, and you can choose how deep you want to go. If you're an offshore angler looking to knock a few species off your bucket list, this is the way to do it!

Once you start fishing, you will be able to chase down a wide variety of offshore sportfish species, including Wahoo, Snapper, Grouper, Blackfin Tuna, and even some massive Sharks!

Captain Steve and his crew will set you up with the rods, reels, bait, and tackle to ensure a successful fishing adventure. They'll also take care of cleaning and filleting your catches, so you can go home with a cooler full of delicious fish!
On-board meals can be coordinated with Captain Steve in the days leading up to your trip, so all you will need to bring is your sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and Texas fishing license.

Hat, sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, foods, and drinks. Bring an ice chest so you can take your catch home. Rods, reels, tackle included.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 10 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 10 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
