Fluke fishing makes me feel like a kid again. It's pure fun fishing (when you're fishing inshore, typically less than an hour from the dock). We drift fish and the action is usually amazing. The limit is 5 fish per person and we have gotten our limit on every trip for the past few years (not to jinx it). About Your Trip

Normally, we set an internal size limit on the fish and throw back "smaller keepers". Or we limit out and go fishing for something else. It's up to you.

I will briefly mention another trip--the offshore Nantucket Shoals Trip, but that it less than relaxing, as the ride out is 35-55 miles and the quarry is "very big-giant fluke". That's another trip altogher.

The reason it makes me feel like a kid again is that kids do just as well as adults, and kids are notoriously competitive with their parents and friends. It makes it a blast with each fish that comes over the rails. As you know, fluke is delicious and freezes very well. I fillet the fish for you and pack them in ice. We also catch black sea bass, skate, and sharks on these trips. On the way home, we also fish for stripers and blues if you are so inclined.

Our boat drifts very well and four people can spread out nicely. Arrangements for 5 are acceptable as long as people understand a bit of how to fish.

I love this. Taking people fishing since 2004 and I still feel like a little kid. What I like most about my business is that I don't just do one type of trip. If it swims, I fish for it. And I appreciate the little things; seeing the sunrise, enjoying the seas, teaching kids and adults how to fish; how to best handle the gear. With some species, it's just amazing to target them (like giant tuna, sharks). Other species are great to eat and catch in numbers. Cape Cod is a great place to fish; tons of species to target. And warm waters!

Our season starts in April and ends in November. The "short list" is:

April: Squid.

May: Squid, porgy (scup), black sea bass, stripers/blues, fluke

June: Porgy, black sea bass, stripers/blues, fluke, bluefin tuna

July: Porgy, black sea bass, stripers/blues, fluke, bluefin tuna, sharks, bonito

August: Porgy, black sea bass, stripers/blues, fluke, bluefin tuna, sharks, bonito, false albacore

September: stripers/blues, fluke, bluefin tuna, sharks, bonito, false albacore

October: stripers/blues, bluefin tuna, sharks, bonito, false albacore

November: bluefin tuna

We fish off of Cape Cod, where I have been fishing since 1975!
