About Your Trip

Well, I've been fishing for bluefin around Cape Cod, as a charter captain, for more than 20 years. It is the type of fishing that will go down as one of the most thrilling fisheries on Earth. Seeing tuna rip through a school of bait, crashing on the surface, feeding with whales...Your heart will race for days after your trip.

We fish for them in many different styles of fishing. We use topwater lures as
well as jigging. Trolling or live bait. We search for breaking fish as well as fishing structure. The tackle today is so much better than 20 years ago. We used to trolling 50-wides for 50# tuna....Now we have taken 350# tuna on spinning gear! It's up to you. It's the ultimate "go big or go home" fishery.

The season starts in June and goes into November and December. Summer dates fill up first because we have so many other species to fish for, the weather is better, and kids are out of school. However, the fall fishery is one of the best around, as the fish start fattening up for the winter.

I love this. Taking people fishing since 2004 and I still feel like a little kid. What I like most about my business is that I don't just do one type of trip. If it swims, I fish for it. I love this. Taking people fishing since 2004 and I still feel like a little kid. What I like most about my business is that I don't just do one type of trip. If it swims, I fish for it. And I appreciate the little things; seeing the sunrise, enjoying the seas, teaching kids and adults how to fish; how to best handle the gear. With some species, it's just amazing to target them (like giant tuna, sharks).
Other species
are great to eat and catch in numbers. Cape Cod is a great place to fish; tons of species to target. And warm waters!

Our season starts in April and ends in November. The "short list" is:
April: Squid.
May: Squid, porgy (scup), black sea bass, stripers/blues, fluke
June: Porgy, black sea bass, stripers/blues, fluke, bluefin tuna
July: Porgy, black sea bass, stripers/blues, fluke, bluefin tuna, sharks, bonito
August: Porgy, black sea bass, stripers/blues, fluke, bluefin tuna, sharks, bonito, false albacore
September: stripers/blues, fluke, bluefin tuna, sharks, bonito, false albacore
October: stripers/blues, bluefin tuna, sharks, bonito, false albacore
November: bluefin tuna

We fish off of Cape Cod, where I have been fishing since 1975!
