About Your Trip

Our Salmon trips typically start about 6am but we change that a little due to tides. Also we are flexible with our clients and there needs. The trip is 7 to 9 hours depending on the fishing that day. Lots of days we catch our limits early and go in early.
Your guide and captain are one in the same. These trips are very personalized. The boat is well equipped with top of the line
equipment and state of the art electronics.
We can provide lunch and snacks upon request. Must let us know the day before your trip. We carry a cooler with water, soda and some juices.
Any part of your trip can be customized so just ask.
This is a charter however we do not operate like big charter boats. We only take up to 6. We give 1 person or whatever group size you have the chance to just buy the boat for the day. You will need to request when booking and we will charge accordingly. If you book two seats for example we will add other anglers to fill boat. However you can request just your two seats and pay for the boat.
This trip is just a salmon trip. We will troll a variety of gear. Its hands on but your rod will be in a rod holder most the time. Your guide will get you all set up and your gear deployed. Then you can sit back and wait. Once the rod burries and line starts screaming you will grab your rod and fight your fish. Its a very exciting and fun trip

Independent Guide
My name is Matt and I am the owner and operator. We are a fishing guide and charter service operating in Oregon on the Columbia River and Pacific Ocean. We fish for Salmon, Sturgeon, Walleye and Bottom fish. We also offer crabbing trips in the fall out of Astoria. I have been a guide since high school working on a bird hunting ranch, and I have been coast guard licensed since 2007. With over 25 years of guiding and fishing and hunting experience, you're in good hands.

I have guided fisherman and hunters for most of his adult life. I love helping people achieve their dreams and catch their trophy. I am very patient and caring with my clients. I believe in making memories and friends through these guided trips. When not fishing I work as a hunting consultant, where I help clients find their dream hunt and help plan it.

If not working I spend time with my wife and two kids that love the outdoors as well. Teaching the younger generation the skills needed to do all of this is truly a passion.
