These trips are ideal for small groups, with room for up to 4 passengers on Captain Connor’s 22’ Triton Seaflight, a well-equipped and versatile vessel that’s built to handle the dynamic inshore waters of the region. With years of experience fishing these local estuaries, bays, and nearshore edges, Captain Connor knows where to go and when to be there to stay on the fish. His target species include Speckled Trout, Redfish, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Flounder, and other inshore favorites, depending on seasonal patterns and conditions.

On any given day, you might find yourself drifting across grass flats, bouncing jigs through channels, or working the edges of structure with light tackle. Captain Connor regularly employs techniques like jigging, popping, spinning, trolling, and drift fishing—all designed to match the moment and keep your rod bent. He’s especially great with young anglers, so if you're bringing kids along, let him know in advance and he’ll have the right life vests ready to go.

Everything you need for a great day of fishing is included in your trip: rods, reels, tackle, bait, fuel, licenses, and ice are all covered. Just bring along your food and drinks in a small cooler, along with sun protection like sunglasses, a hat, and reef-safe (non-spray) sunscreen. If you’d like to keep your catch, Captain Connor will gladly clean and bag your fish at the end of the trip—just be sure to have some room in your cooler and, as always, tips for fish cleaning are much appreciated.

How did you get started guiding?
I started deck handing for charter boats while I was in high school. I worked on several different boats. Once I started my career at the Ocean Springs Fire d Department in 2018, I decided to buy my own boat so I could run trips that aligned with my schedule.
What makes you different from other guides?
Over the years, I have worked for 10 different captains. I have learned a lot of do’s and dont’s from them. I’ve seen captains ruin good days and I’ve seen captains turn mediocre days into some of the best days people have ever experienced. I know that the attitude and effort of a captain can make or break a trip. I try my hardest on every trip to give the client what they signed up for when they paid for the trip.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
