Whether you're chasing the early morning bite or enjoying a full day on the lake, Captain Jon is here to put you on fish and make sure you have a great time doing it.

With years of experience and a laid-back, welcoming approach, Captain Jon tailors each trip to match the day’s conditions and your goals. Depending on the time of year, you’ll be targeting Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and Brown Trout, using proven techniques like light tackle trolling and jigging. Jon stays locked in on seasonal patterns, adjusting your approach to make the most of whatever the lake is giving that day.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 33’ Wellcraft cruiser, powered by 450 HP and built for comfort, stability, and performance on the Great Lakes. The boat is fully equipped with all the essentials, including GPS, fishfinder, radar, a toilet, ice box, and plenty of deck space for your group to fish comfortably. With room for up to 6 anglers, it’s the perfect setup for families, friends, or a group of fishing buddies looking to enjoy a classic Lake Michigan outing.

All rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided, and fish cleaning and filleting is included at the end of the trip so you can take your fresh catch home without the hassle. You’re welcome to keep any legal fish you catch, or release them if you prefer.

Just be sure to purchase your Michigan fishing license ahead of time and bring along anything you’d like to eat or drink while on the water. Dress in layers for changing weather, bring sunscreen and sunglasses, and get ready for a memorable day on one of the Great Lakes’ most iconic fisheries.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 30 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 30 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
