About Your Trip

With Captain Connor at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands. We will be wade fishing with lures only, expect to fish for gator Speckled Trout, slot Redfish, and doormat Flounder. The trip can be tailored for which ever one you prefer to target or all three if you are looking for a Texas Slam day.

Connor moved to Galveston for school back in 2016 and fell in love with the Galveston fishery. He
has a slight advantage over others as he was without a boat for many years. This meant Connor had to find the fish the hard way by walk-in wading all over Galveston bay and covering multiple miles oi shoreline to find the fish for any given day. Those days are over now with the new 24' SKUTA Cat. No fish is safe as he is covering damn near every pothole in Galveston Bay now.

Whether you'll be experiencing the pleasure of wade fishing for the first time or a seasoned veteran, you're sure to have a good time with Capt. Connor. Each trip comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are included. Although, feel free to bring your favorite setups.

Independent Guide
Captain Connor is all about putting anglers on fish—and it all started with a pair of boots, a rod, and a love for Galveston’s waters. Back in 2017, while studying at Texas A&M Galveston, Connor met Daniel while fishing the bank at Shell Beach. Neither had a boat, but both were hooked on wade fishing from day one. What started as weekend missions quickly turned into tournament wins and years of exploring every inch of Galveston Bay.

Connor spent countless
hours mapping out prime wade spots, chasing tides, and fine-tuning his skills with one goal in mind: to turn passion into purpose. That dream came to life in 2024 when he and Daniel launched what would become one of Galveston’s most dialed-in wade fishing operations.

Now, Captain Connor specializes in lure-only wade trips targeting Redfish, Trout, and Flounder—sharing the techniques, spots, and knowledge he’s earned the hard way. Whether you’re stepping into the water for the first time or chasing that next personal best, Connor’s laid-back style and serious fish sense make every trip one to remember.

Wade out, tie on, and get ready—Captain Connor is here to help you experience Galveston fishing at its absolute best.
