About Your Trip

Gear up for a full day of inshore Sea Bass fishing with Captain Jay—kicking off in mid-May (pending final season regulations). This trip is all about putting quality fish in the cooler while enjoying a smooth, hands-on experience in the rich inshore waters just off the Jersey coast.

Running from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., this trip is perfect for anglers looking to take advantage of the Sea Bass opener and enjoy a productive day
on the water. You'll fish aboard Captain Jay’s 26’ Shamrock sportfishing boat, equipped with a powerful 370 HP Mercury engine and a brand-new spot lock system. This cutting-edge tech holds the boat precisely in place over productive reefs and structure—meaning more time with your line in the strike zone and better odds of filling your limit.

All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are included, and Captain Jay and First Mate Arthur will be right there to guide you through the best rigs and techniques for dialing in Sea Bass. Whether you're jigging over rocky bottom or dropping bait into tight structure, this crew knows how to keep the rods bending.

With catch cleaning included and everything set up for comfort and success, all you need to bring is your food, drinks, and your excitement for a full day of fishing. When the Sea Bass season opens, this is the trip you'll want to be on!
