About Your Trip

Experience the magic of winter on Lake Mille Lacs with a fully guided 4 or 6-hour ice fishing trip. Whether you're chasing your first fish through the ice or you're a seasoned hardwater angler, this adventure offers the perfect mix of comfort, learning, and hands-on action. Designed for up to three people, each trip is tailored to your goals—whether you want to focus on Walleye, target Northern Pike, or mix it up with a multi-species day.

Your guide will set you up in a heated shelter with all the essentials provided, including rods, reels, tackle, and bait. From jigging to using tip-ups, you’ll fish using tried-and-true techniques in locations chosen based on up-to-date ice conditions and recent activity. The goal is to keep your lines tight and your day memorable. Along the way, your guide will offer expert instruction and share insights about the lake, the fishery, and the strategies behind the day’s plan.

To make the most of your trip, come prepared with a valid Minnesota fishing license, plenty of warm clothing, and layers suited for the ever-changing winter weather. Pack your favorite snacks and drinks to stay fueled throughout the day, and bring along a camera to capture the highlights. Sunglasses can come in handy for glare off the snow and ice, and a cooler with ice is great for transporting your cleaned catch home at the end of the day.

Whether you're out to learn, unwind, or hook into something big beneath the ice, a guided trip on Lake Mille Lacs is a must-do winter experience. Get ready for six hours of frozen fun, fishing action, and lasting memories out on one of Minnesota’s premier ice fishing destinations.
