These trips are flexible and fun, with 4-hour outings departing at 8 AM, 12 noon, or 4 PM, plus extended 6- and 8-hour trips available for those looking to dive a little deeper into the bite. Whether you want to focus on just one species or go after a little bit of everything, your guide will adjust the plan to make the most of your time on the water.

Lake Mille Lacs is famous for producing trophy-caliber fish, and you’ll be using proven techniques like trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, spinning, and both light and heavy tackle depending on conditions. Your guide is happy to walk you through the tactics, explain how to read the water, and share local tips—or simply handle the setup while you enjoy reeling in the fish.

You’ll be fishing from a well-rigged 17’ Alumacraft aluminum boat, equipped with a GPS, fishfinder, live bait well, and a wireless trolling motor for precision fishing. All rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait are provided, and the best part? Fish cleaning and filleting are included at no extra cost.

Planning a family trip? Kids are more than welcome aboard! Just make sure to bring a properly sized life jacket if needed, along with snacks and drinks to keep everyone energized. Alcohol is allowed in moderation—just skip the hard liquor and glass bottles. And don’t forget the essentials: valid Minnesota fishing licenses (with a printed copy), sun protection, sunglasses, weather-appropriate clothing, and a cooler with ice to transport your cleaned catch home.

In his free time, Kyle volunteers with veteran and kids events around Minnesota. One specifically is a Non-Profit organization called "Future Anglers of Minnesota" or "FAM" for short. Kyle is currently the Youth Clinic Coordinator for FAM and works alongside an incredible group of anglers as they teach "Life through Fishing" to a number of youth in the Twin Cities area and North Central Minnesota.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
