If you're ready to chase pelagics and cover serious water, this 6-hour offshore trip to the legendary Marathon Hump is built for you. Located 25 miles out, this deepwater rise draws in big game species like Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, and Skipjack Tuna—making it one of the most exciting fishing spots in the Keys.

You'll be trolling and jigging in the blue water with heavy tackle, scanning for weed lines, birds, and bait balls that signal fast action. With the added fuel and run time, this offshore adventure is priced higher than reef trips, but the chance to battle hard-fighting pelagics in deep water makes it more than worth it.

Captain Kerry runs this trip aboard his 28’ Mako center console, decked out with top-end electronics, outriggers, live bait wells, and all the gear you’ll need for a productive day offshore. Live bait is included—carefully sourced through trapping, netting, or purchased fresh based on what the fish are chasing. You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

Took a 6 hour trip on August Holiday booking was very easy, for a group of 4 adults. We had a wonderful day trip fishing with one of the charter skippers, Captain Des Bot he and his Mate Jamie were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful we really could not have wished for a more helpful experience especially as we are far from experienced at fishing especially in Florida. The results we managed to obtain targeting fish we could eat and have some fun with could not have been better delivered. For the table we caught plenty of Snapper all varieties more than enough to feed out family of 8. We also managed to have a lot of fun with Grouper both red and small Goliath. All was delivered over three or 4 locations on the Bay side due to rough conditions in the gulf, so it made for a very rewarding comfortable da. To cap it all off the catch was all expertly prepared and bagged ready for us to take to a superb recommendation location Sparky's Landing who prepared a beautiful variety of meals, blackend, tacos and crumbed the snapper was just beautiful.

all in all I could not be happier with the service and value.
