The Mahi are showing up!!!
Its getting to be that time of year when "The Green Guys" make their way through The Keys!!!
If this year's bite is anywhere close to last years, it will be awesome!!! Last year we averaged about 26 inch Mahi.
Somedays were better than others but we caught fish!!!
The thrill of the hunt and hearing the drag peeling off is what makes it fun!!!
Blackfin Tuna are hanging off the reef in about 250ft of water, which is a hop skip and a jump from land.
The spring currents and winds are pushing the fish to us!! Its only going to get better!!!
And dont forget, along with The Green Guys, Wahoo are around as well!!

March madness is in full effect and the fish are happy as can be! When the warm weather rolls in, the fish cooperate with plenty of opportunities to catch tarpon, bonefish, permit, redfish and snook.

Fishing has been great lots of snapper around tons of yellowtail on the reef the patches are loaded with lanes and mangrove and the bridges have been stacked with mangrove snapper the tarpon are just starting to show up in the deeper channels out back we are still finding cobia...

After that chilly spell! We were thrilled to catch some great snook after the water temperatures dropped. Anglers Mike and Eloy had a fantastic 6-hour adventure in Everglades National Park, using artificial lures, and they caught several nice snook and redfish.

Had a great time spiny lobster fishing with Allen. We all went out and spent about 3ish hours snorkeling to catch them. Don’t kid yourself it’s not easy at least towards the end of the season. Water wasn’t super deep about 4-5 feet and we moved 3 times to try fresh areas when we had trouble finding big enough ones. Caught a bunch but only 2 were legal enough to keep. Still had lots of fun.

We had an awesome time fishing on 3/23/26. We caught some massive amberjacks that kept getting eaten by sharks, so they switched up what and where we fished a put us on some great snapper and black fins. Zach was working hard to keep us fishing the whole time. Great time!

Trip: Reef Fishing Little Torch Key

Easily one of the best fishing trips I have been on! Ken called me several days before the charter to ask what expectations I had for the trip and what my target species were. I could tell Ken was very knowledgeable about the Florida waters as he put us on the fish with in the first few casts of the trip! He gave us tips and tricks throughout the trip on how to better cast and catch fish. In totally we caught 25 - 30 fish throughout the trip. We kept 4 Sea Trout for dinner that night. Ken beautifully filleted the trout for us at the end of the trip. Next time I'm down in the Keys I will definitely be booking a trip with Ken again!!

Great day with Captain Bill on the water! We did a half day trip with my family and had a blast. My girls didn’t want rough seas so Bill took us out in the bay and we caught our limit of snapper with a couple of bonus trout. The highlight was the shark that tried to eat our snapper boat side! I would highly recommend Captain Bill and we will be giving him a call our next trip back to the Keys!

Trip: Florida Fish Slam -23'

Absolutely Great day on the water with Captain Jim!! He put us on the fish and the first cast had a beautiful tuna that I let get away. But from then on we had more than we could bring home!!! Captain Jim is a great teacher ( I’m used to bass fishing😳) and eventually he was able to teach me to Not set the hook😆. He offered to clean and fillet the fish for us to take to restaurants that will prepare your catch for you. He gave us several recommendations for restaurants. We chose his favorite , Hogfish a family style dining that was perfect. Thank you Captain Jim for a great experience!!!!
