About Your Trip

Buckle up for a serious offshore adventure with Captain Bill at the helm! Whether you’re a seasoned angler or chasing your first big pelagic, this trip is all about big fish, high-performance gear, and wide-open water. With years of experience running these deepwater trips, Captain Bill knows how to put you on the bite — and his rig is built for it.

You’ll be heading out aboard a beast of a center console — a
28’6” Southport with a massive 10’6” beam, the widest in its class. This makes for an exceptionally stable ride, especially when you’re running 60-90 miles offshore to chase giants in the canyons and flats. She’s fast, roomy, and decked out with all the right tools: a brand-new Garmin electronics suite, outriggers, top-tier tackle, and even a toilet onboard for extra comfort. She comfortably fishes up to 4 anglers — and with a professional First Mate onboard, you’ll have all the support you need to focus on the fight.

Once you reach the fishing grounds, get ready to lock in. This trip targets some of the most sought-after species in the ocean: Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin, Yellowfin, Albacore, Swordfish, and Mahi Mahi. We’ll troll with Sterling Tackle spreads, drop jigs to heavy hitters, pop the surface for explosive topwater bites, and chunk bait when the time is right. Bigeye over 100 pounds? Absolutely possible. This is deep sea fishing at its most thrilling.

Expect a 2.5–3.5 hour ride each way, but it’s more than worth it when that reel starts screaming. You’ll head back to the dock around 4:30pm, but Captain Bill is always flexible — if the fish are hot, he’s not rushing in.

Captain Bill provides top-of-the-line Penn and Shimano rods and reels, plus all the lures and tackle you’ll need for a successful day. Your fishing license is covered by the charter, so all you need to bring is sunblock (non-spray preferred), sunglasses, a hat, and plenty of water. Feel free to bring your favorite snacks and drinks — just go easy on the liquor and skip the glass bottles.

There’s a First Mate onboard to help with everything from rigging to gaffing to fish handling — be sure to show your appreciation with a 15–20% tip.

If you’re looking for an all-out offshore hunt, this trip is the real deal. Tight lines — we’ll see you out there!

Meet Captain Bill—a lifelong New Jersey angler whose passion began with childhood fishing trips alongside his grandfathers in Beach Haven West and Raritan Bay. Those early days crabbing, bluefishing, and chasing fluke sparked a love for the water that never faded. After his grandfather passed, Bill and his father carried on the tradition—eventually venturing offshore, where Bill became fully hooked on tuna fishing.

Today, he brings that same enthusiasm to every charter, whether targeting fluke, black seabass, or big offshore
pelagics. Bill loves teaching, explaining techniques, and creating memorable experiences for anglers of all ages and skill levels.
