This year the redfish bite has been exceptional! The first Week I actually missed here in Pensacola because I was in Port Aransas, Tx. Fishing the B.A.S.S Master Redfish Championship where I was paired with Scott Martin. Since returning home the bite has non stop!

October is a beautiful time to be out on the water here in the panhandle. The inshore bite is definitely awesome this time a year. You can pick off a lot of variety by pounding the banks with live shrimp, plastics, and twitch baits. Deep dropping or trolling offshore is still going strong. Just pick the right day to get out there as these northern winds start blowing pretty steady.

Redfish have finally showed up in good numbers! Mangrove snapper and Spanish mackerel are as long as the water stays warm.

The fishing here has been pretty steady this past month. Redfish, black snapper, flounder, trout and mackerel have been plentiful. Offshore fishing has been great whenever we can get out there!

Time is here for those overnight tuna trips!!! clear water has mover in and tuna, wahoo, white marlin are working the deep water rigs. This is the time to fill the freezer. Do some deep dropping for grouper on the way out and work the tuna all night. Give us a call. We carry up to six people so less than a thousand per person for a 24 hour tuna trip!!!
