The past couple weeks Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and yellowfin tuna bite has been pretty good. Snapper and grouper has been really good with lots of double digit days.

And the humpback whales are back in the area!

Last week we had clients catch a 30 lb and a monster 150lb yellowfin tuna. Sailfish numbers have been 4-15 landed per day over the past couple weeks. We are seeing a few more Mahi Mahi being caught again, some being over 40lbs.

Fishing report for the month of February sailfish have been on the move. Still lots to catch once you find them. Some mahi good size caught this week and last. Big tuna out 30 miles or so on the spinner dolphin eating live bait and also artificial jigs, popers. A few Marlin seen but having a hard time switching over. Bottom fishing has been hot! The grouper and tile fish have been biting.

    My son and I fished on Amy’s Dream, and had an amazing day. Captain Christian went over a plan with us before we shoved off, and we went out hopping to hook into sailfish. A few hits early on got the excitement going until we hooked and landed two beautiful sailfish pretty close to each other mid day. Was an awesome time and they di a great job coaching and assisting my 8year old to reel/land the fish nearly solo. Some more hits and excitement rounded out the afternoon. Can’t reccomend Amy’s dream enough, we will be back.
