The Past week. Plenty of redfish in the river as well as flounder up to 250 and jacks. Live shrimp and live mullet on TBS jigs are the ticket.

The bite continues to stay strong on the St. Johns River! Redfish, trout, and a mixed bag have been keeping rods bent despite the late-summer heat. Early mornings have been producing the best action, with plenty of opportunities on light tackle right in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville. 🌴🎣

Backwater and flats Fishing has been outstanding in the scenic estuaries, and network of creeks and marshes that creates the kind of inshore habitat where redfish, trout, and flounder thrive. Catches of 20 plus redfish are common each trip.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Experience with Captain Anthony! 100% hands down, we highly recommend Captain Anthony! He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and an all-around great person. As complete beginners on an inshore trip, he helped us catch so many different species of fish, taught us about each one, and made sure we had a fun and successful day on the water. We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to come back again. If you’re looking for a skilled, patient, and genuinely enjoyable captain, book with Captain Anthony—you won’t be disappointed!

    Trip: 4 - 6 Hour Inshore Trip

Captain Dan took us to scatter our mother's ashes at the beginning of September. He explained how the trip was going to proceed in a clear manner, and, included safety procedures. We felt comfortable and informed as Captain Dan took us to a beautiful spot for our ashes scattering. He allowed us to provide him with music in advance and then played it as we scattered our mother's ashes along the river it was very lovely and touching. Afterwards, he gave us a tour of the area were we watched the dolphins jump and learned a little about the history of the area. Thank you, Captain Dan for your thoughtfulness and making this special time memorable. We would certainly ride with you again.

Trip: Spreading Ashes In Saint Augstine

The best in the business!! We had the best time with Captain Frank. He was so nice and patient with us. The weather wasn’t great but he adjusted the plan and we still caught lots of fish and had a great time. You would have a hard time finding a better guide in the area. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about fishing and I hope we have the chance to go with him again. We learned a lot from him and I would highly recommend him for anglers of any experience level.

Had a great time with Captain Bill! The weather ended up keeping us inshore but he made sure to let us know ahead of time so we could stay flexible. He made sure to find us a few spots where we could get on some fish.

If you’re looking to have a great time, book with Chris! He and Kathy took excellent care of us on our first deep sea fishing trip. With his guidance on fishing and Kathy’s boat driving, we were able to catch quite a few fish. We will definitely be back!

Captain Mike took us out a little over a month ago on two boats with Captain Steve running the 2nd boat for our family. These guys did an excellent job of putting us on the fish. Very professional and knowledgeable of the area. Caught several reds, trout, flounder and my daughter was lucky enough to land a tarpon. Would recommend to anyone looking to fill their coolers. Thanks guys for the great time and experience.
