Happy Thanksgiving. As we celebrate the bounty of the fall, the weather is turning colder. The response by mother nature is to add a layer of fat. So the bite is on fire, the places are deeper holes and channel edges with decent flow. My favorite baits this time of year are soft plastics on a jighead or shrimp on a jighead. We have plenty of dates available, if weather permits red snapper are in fairly close.

It's fall and pumpkins are everywhere, by pumpkins I mean redfish. Early in the The fall season while the water still warm live baits work best as the water cools cut baits rule. Also , as the water cools red snapper Move closer to shore, locals LY's . I prefer live and fresh dead Sardines. And threadfin.

Fall time along the Forgotten Coast makes for some unforgettable outdoor experiences! Gator hunts have been doing very well! 24 gators harvested so far this season with largest being 10'6". Scalloping in St Joe Bay has produced very good harvests however finding them in the turtle grass has been somewhat difficult, season ends September 24th. Nighttime flounder gigging has been on fire with plenty of other species also filling up the coolers like large sheepshead, mullet, & black drum. Redfish starting to heat up with cooler water temps arriving. Live shrimp on jigheads & Carolina rigs have been producing best.

The bottom fishing continues to be good although you have to watch your weather windows.
Again, thread hearing sardines on a knocker, rig. L y's or live baits have been working really well.
Don't forget scallop season starts Monday.July firsthere's no better way to cool off than to dip into the gulf and pick up some sea Sweets

Awesome to fish with!! Very knowledgeable and super eager to get my two 8yr olds on some fish. Will definitely be going out with Captain Carl again. Awesome time!!
Great day on the bay with Captain Dwayne.
He was super patient with our grandsons ages 8 and 13. We had a total group of nine. I was in the boat with Captain Dwayne, my wife , daughter-in-law and two grandsons. We had a second boat which Dwayne had arranged with Captain Tommy, my two sons and two granddaughters ages 11 and 13.we kept 68 fish between the two boats!! We all had a fun time. Thanks Dwayne and Tommy!!!
My and my 2 boys had a great time with Brock. He was an absolute delight! He knows the area and when to literally cut bait. We caught enough to feed 17 and still had time to go for the big ones! I would highly recommend Brock! Great Guy!!
We had a great charter with Allen! He was very knowledgeable, put us in some great spots, and easy to talk to throughout the day. We especially appreciated how kind Allen was to our 10 yr old son and that he took the time to teach him about being on the water during the trip.
I will say I have gone on mini guided fishing trips and Brock was by far the nicest most accommodating boat captain I have ever met. Walking on with three small kids under the age of 10 you never know how the captains will react. Brock was an absolute pleasure with the kids never did I since frustration or him being annoyed at all. My 10 year-old caught a 29 inch and a 28 inch red. What an experience would highly recommend Brock.
Had an absolute blast last night! Captain Drew led a great trip, had a keen eye, and was super knowledgeable about all things fishing and outdoors. Very impressed, can't wait to go again.
Captain Greg was awesome. Caught a bunch of trout and a few others. Would definitely come and see him again. Great attitude and cracked us up several times. Lmao. Come and see Captain G!!!
