We had our two-day Atlantic Red Snapper Season a few weeks ago. The first day we caught 11 in 30 minutes at one spot and kept 3- our 1 fish per person limit- and were done by 7:30. The second day we caught 10 in an hour and fifteen minutes in 3 spots and kept 4, done by 8. Kingfishing has been good. Clients caught this one Saturday. Tarpon are on the beach and at the jetties. If the interest isn't offshore the nearshore fishing for red snappers, bonita and sharks has been off the chain!
Inshore things are starting to get scrappy with the warming water. But keeping a rod bent on oversized redfish, trout, jacks, ladyfish and mangrove snapper has proved somewhat easy. But not every spot has been a good one.

They don't call it MAYport for no reason!
Fishing the last few weeks has been off the chain. From inshore to offshore there really isn't anything that isn't biting. Playing the tide weather has been determining the target!
