Able to get a few trips in black drum are showing up along with some Spanish mackerel. Looking forward to the fall bite when the wind lays down!

Inshore fishing has been good recently since the ocean's been so rough. Before the wind started to blow, ocean fishing was good. Here's some pics from the past couple weeks.

🎣 The Indian and Banana River Lagoons near Melbourne, FL are fishing incredibly well right now! It's grand slam season, and we're seeing Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Black Drum, and Sea Trout, many times even on the same trip! On top of that, there's plenty of mangrove snapper and ladyfish keeping things exciting. The water levels are coming back up and the fish are returning to their preferred habitats of flats, mangroves and docks. It's a great time to fish!

🎣 The fishing was good to very good last month on the Indian and Banana River Lagoons near Melbourne, FL. The pattern has stayed the same. Snook have been the most consistent bite followed by Mangrove Snappers, Seatrout, Redfish, and even some Sheepshead. There are some Tarpon around as well. The water is very, very hot right now so the best bite is early on everything. Think sunrise to 0830. Half or 3/4 days are all you need!

Captain Rick was wonderful! We had a lot of fun and caught a variety of fish. Rick was so flexible, he went above and beyond to adjust our fishing trip to accommodate the weather and give us the best experience we could have. He was knowledgeable, easy to chat with, had our poles ready to go, and lots of bait. We had some extra time so he gave us a tour of the cape. My son had a blast. Nothing less than an outstanding Captain and guide. Not o Lu did we catch fish, WE CAUGHT FISH. After the trip he filets them, wraps them and then sends you on your way to Marlin’s where they take your fish and cook it to your liking. A+ experience with Tim as well as the choice of dining! When I come back he’s my go to!
