The trout bite has decided picked up over the last few weeks. Still a good amount of slot reds running the flats as well. Spanish bite was good but definitely started to slow down. Founder opens back up today so we will start targeting them the next couple months

Managed to venture out a couple times within the past two weeks. This past Tuesday, the bite was hot... caught fish on everything we threw.... popping corks and Carolina rigs tipped with live shrimp, plus artificial lures. They’re still biting good... little warm front has then fired up!

30a offshore.
We have wrapped up the October fall snapper dates. We continue to find quality fish despite the high winds and big seas. Everything from big red snapper, scamp grouper, big trash can lid triggerfish, bull vermillion, even rainbow runners.
The cold front that has came through has sparked off the kings also. Still waiting for the big run of the fall blackfin tuna.
30a inshore.

We are seeing the bull redfish still pretty consistently. Some days are better than others but they're still around. We are catching slots around docks and some of the drop offs. Flats in the morning for them and later in the evening. Still catching a few trout also. Hopefully in the next few weeks the sheepshead bite will pick up for us here in the Choctawhatchee.
This Cold weather snap has the billfish spun up, 300lb blue was tagged and landed a sail , the trolling has produced Bonita and king mackerel! We are at the end of our season so we are slowing down but still plenty of Reef fish to catch before the gulf weather gets harsh for

The bite has still been good in October. We have the weekends open for red snapper but it has been hard to catch some of the bigger ones closer to shore. We have been catching other species though. Wahoo and blackfin tuna are supposed to venture in closer to shore this time of year. A few wahoo have been caught by some of my friends just 5-15 miles from the shore.
The Destin rodeo is going on through October and many fish have been caught including a giant 300 lb Warsaw grouper!

Large schools of bull redfish are starting to gather in the back bay areas. We came up on a school of bull reds crashing the top water and hooked into a 20 pound redfish the other day.
Red snapper open on weekends for October. When it's calm enough, we have been doing very well with some big snapper and even a grouper now and then. Smaller Mahi mahi still around. Occasionally a nice big for inshore 5-10 lb er. A few king mackerel showing up, but not thick yet.
Bay fishing-
Mangrove snapper bonanza! Fair amount of Spanish mackerel on fly lined baits. Big oversized red fish on the right winds. Has been good lately with North winds and Cooler temps.

Mike was an awesome captain cannot thank him enough for being patient with my son. We caught what we could and had a blast doing it. Got to go fast and catch fish what else can you ask for!
Captain Richie, Quinten and Dexter were FIRST CLASS. They gave great advice upon booking, and their insight led us to a marvelous deep sea fishing day. We caught trigger fish, snapper and a couple grouper we needed to throw back. They kept us safe, made excellent conversation and facilitated an all round stellar day. It didn’t stop there - everything was cleaned, fillet and scaled as I requested. Just awesome. We will definitely book with them again next year. Thank you!

Cliff and Austin were great and a lot of fun to be around. Caught tons of fish and had a lot of fun! Definitely would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a good reliable guide in destin.
Huge shout out to Cliff and Austin! Took my kids on their first fishing trip in the Gulf. Cliff got us on the fish and Austin kept us fishing reeling in the fish. Perfect family trip. The kids loved it. Cliff turned us on to Brotula's "catch and cook." Just topped off the trip eating our fresh catch.
Captain Ken was amazing! Our family of 4 had a great experience. We had a fish on all 4 rods at one point, Spanish Mackeral to Red Snapper! We had an amazing time, we will be back to hang with Captain Ken!
I took my three adult children out for a 3 hour fish in the lagoon, and Captain Jeff and his brother Jason were fantastic hosts. The fishing was slow but they did put us on some red snapper and everyone caught a few fish. They were very attentive and were great to us all. I would certainly recommend fishing with them. The boat was comfortable and I had no complaints. I will certainly look to fish with them again. I give them 5 stars. Thank you Jeff.
