Spring time fishing has been nothing short of incredible lately! We’ve had consistent action across the board, with many trips producing a great variety of species including sailfish, mahi mahi, blackfin tuna, and kingfish. Some days it feels like you never know what’s going to show up next, which is what makes this time of year so exciting offshore.
The conditions have lined up perfectly and the fish have been cooperating, giving our clients steady bites and unforgettable experiences on the water. Whether trolling, kite fishing, or fishing live bait, the action has stayed consistent and we truly couldn’t ask...

Mangrove Snapper.
The most realistic edible " keeper".
10 inch minimum and 5 apiece.
White flaky meat with no pungent taste.
Easy to catch on live shrimp utilizing a Carolina ( sliding) sinker rig.

Spanish mackerel have been and still are the easy fun target. Trout and redfish are still getting better and better. Light tackle bottom fishing has produced nice catches of vermillion snapper along with some big red grouper and a variety of other keeper fish like lane snapper, scamp grouper, and trigger fish.
Cobia are finally worth taking a longer trip to go look for along the beaches in 20-40 feet of water. It only takes one 30-50 lb fish to make the trip a success!

Let's go! The fishing has been pretty good, and the weather is looking great for this week.
Offshore we have had large sargassum weed lines and the mahi have arrived! Early morning, and sunset have also produced some quality blackfin tuna.
The inshore bite has been on fire. Some really nice mutton snappers, mangrove, and yellowtails on the patch reefs and inside the islands. The AM and sunset tarpon bite has been pretty active. Lane snapper population is slowly fading as the water warms up.

On our Dry Tortugas trips we have been catching a ton of species. Last weeks day trip had a laundry list;
Mahi, tuna, mackerels, bonitos offshore. Then we got to the reef for muttons, yellowtails, and mangroves snappers. Once at the park, our guests walked the beach of Garden Key and caught and released some bonefish and tarpon. Also, hand feeding a 300lb Goliath grouper at the dock was a memorable experience.
The past few days have delivered picture-perfect conditions—calm seas, warm temps, and crystal-clear water—and the tarpon fishing has been nothing short of phenomenal.
Key West is loaded with migratory tarpon right now, with hundreds of fish staged throughout the backcountry in their annual spring pattern. Over the last three days, we’ve experienced our best bite of the season, hooking a dozen or more fish per day.
These fish range from 15 to 150 pounds, with a solid average around 60 lbs—plenty of shots at true trophies mixed in with steady action.

Even better, the bite has been aggressive across the board. Whether you’re fishing with live bait or artificials, the tarpon are feeding hard and giving anglers incredible opportunities.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time—this is it.

Captain Larry took our Girls’ Trip ladies out for an afternoon cruise. We spent time leisurely snorkeling beautiful reefs then relaxing on the sand bar. The time went too quickly but we never felt rushed. Larry was very friendly and accommodating to our group.
Brian was excellent at finding the best locations to fish and knowledgable on how to catch them. From the start Brian was quick to get to the action and was very helpful with first timers. Enjoyed the trip and would choose Brian again for future trips.
Fantastic guide. Super cool guy. Knew all the good spots and had nonstop iguana action all day. Will definitely be using him again on our next trip down. 10/10 recommend Charles.
Jose was a great guy to spend the day with. Fishing was slow so we focused on iguanas. Could have filled up the boat with them if we had done our part. Did manage to catch a few fish too but the highlight was definitely the 🦎.
My guys had a great time on their fishing trip with Captain Nick! The trip was booked per my 10 year old son’s request, and he was accompanied by his step dad and grandpas. Nick was very pleasant and friendly, experienced, and treated my boy as one of his own. They all had a really great time and learned a lot during their trip. Thanks Captain Nick!
Captain Branden was amazing! Our 14-year-old and his best friend went fishing with him, and both caught Mahi. After catching it, Brandon cooked it up for lunch. They said it was the "best fishing trip" they had ever been on (and they have done a lot). Will definitely book with him again. A great day!
