Our Night Time Trophy Trip is the ultimate deep-sea adventure for anglers looking to chase true giants under the stars. This trip runs either 8 or 10 hours, taking you offshore into the legendary Gulf Stream waters — about an hour and a half from Fort Lauderdale. Once we arrive, it’s game on. The Gulf Stream is home to some of the most powerful predators in the ocean, and you never know what might bite next. Expect heart-pounding battles with swordfish and sharks, along with chances to encounter tuna and rare species like mako, tiger, and hammerhead sharks.

Aboard our 36’ Palmetto Center Console, you’ll be guided by an experienced Captain and mate who work tirelessly to give you the best chance at landing a trophy fish. The vessel is equipped with top-of-the-line electronics, comfortable seating, and all the gear needed for heavy-duty night fishing. We are a deep sea fishing charter based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. If you're looking for your trophy catch or some dinner for the table, we are your guys. Captain Hector and I (Captain Colton) have been fishing these waters for many years now with tons of experience on the water from Pompano all the way down to the Keys. Basically the whole southeast coast. Our fishing machine for your fishing adventure is a 36 foot Palmetto, powered by twin Honda 250 HP diesel engine. We really enjoy and look forward to putting a smile on our clients face when they get to catch a fish on one of our trips. Whether you're an experienced angler or you've never held a fishing rod before we can coach you through the correct techniques to land that trophy fish you've been waiting to catch. What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?

I get this question a lot on charters and it's not a fish I caught but it's a fish I put a good client on. It was a 100lb Amberjack that we caught on a light jigging rod and we fought it for 30 min. Definitely an unforgettable experience.

If you were cooking for all your friends what would you cook?

A go to for me is a classic steak and some potatoes. You can never go wrong with a good ole juicy steak.

What’s your favorite band?

I don't personally have a favorite band but my favorite genre is Country music, though I love all kinds of music.

How did you get started guiding?

I had always loved to fish with my grandfather growing up in bass tournament together. Which led to him introducing me to pier fishing; where I would target nearshore species such as snook, tarpon, mackerel, mangrove snapper and a variety of other species. From there on my fishing addiction grew more and more. I started out my fishing career on a party boat in Miami, FL. I started as a mate, learning the ropes which led to me pursuing my captains license. I ran that same party boat for about 2 years which taught me a lot about fishing and how to be a captain. Fast forward to present day and now Captain Hector and I are proud owners of Get Reel Sportfishing where we get to share our some love for fishing with you!

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 5 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 5 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
