As the days get cooler, the fishing gets hotter down here in South Louisiana. The bull reds and jacks are schooling by the tens and even hundreds some days. I’ve been heading out to the edge of the Gulf to intercept these packs of maniacs. Doubling and tripling up on 30lb redfish on fly is a common occurrence and will continue till about thanksgiving.
