We are hitting limits of trout and catching some reds! Fishing is very good at this time.

The weather this last week has kept us confined to the bay, but large numbers of reds and black drum still roam around inshore. All the fresh water has pushed the flounder out a little but that is starting to ease up some. On the days we have been able to get out front to the oyster reefs and cleaner water, the big trout (18"+) are feasting!!!

The fishing down here in Hopedale is on fire!! Right now it's basically limit out and done within minutes .

Flounder moving into the bay real good, reds are feeding up, and the speckled trout are gorging themselves getting ready for the next spawning cycle. 18-22" trout can happen on any cast and is getting more likely every day. On the days that we get decent seas the nearshore trout fishing is phenomenal!
