The topwater striped bass fishing remains incredibly action-packed. As the bass continue to chase squid and sand eels, we’ve been able to capitalize on some outstanding surface action. Bluefish have also moved into the mix, adding another element of excitement to an already productive fishery.
The smaller bluefin tuna continue to remain elusive, but the giant bluefin have more than made up for their absence. The giants have taken up just about all the time we have available and have definitely filled the gaps left by the smaller fish. Between the consistent topwater striped bass action, the arrival of bluefish, and the continued presence of giant bluefin tuna, there are plenty of opportunities on the water right now.

The Striper bite has been hot lately out of Harwich, with anglers finding plenty of action and a healthy mix of fish sizes. We've been seeing everything from smaller schoolies to keeper-sized fish headed for the dinner table, along with a few bigger fish mixed in. The weather forecast looks excellent, and conditions are setting up nicely for more great days on the water. If you've been thinking about getting out, now is a great time to get in on the action.
