Fishing has been pretty consistent both shallow and deep. Lots of top water fish up shallow and the bigger schools are moving out to deeper water.
Drop shots and jigs are the best baits off the bank for some nice smallmouth and walleye!

On Monday I had Koe and her friend Karen they flew in from Maine to try the fishing on Table Rock . Koe normally beats Karen in their competition but today Karen won with 19 bass to Koe's 8. But who's counting 🤪

Took out these 2 this morning and was on the water at daylight and went to my 1st spot a flat point that runs all the way out to the channel. Usually this time of year catch lots of bass and walleye, bluegill and occasional catfish. Fished it from 15 ft all the way out to 40 ft drop and caught 1 bluegill. Conditions were dead calm bright blue bird skies that's great for golf but no so much for fishing!

After about a hour and 15 minutes we picked up and moved to a shaded area and proceeded to catch kentucky bass in about 25 ft drop shooting with crawlers. It lasted until all the big boats and skiers came out and it was time to go.They caught a number of kentucky bass with a couple of doubles and a good time was had by all.
A few other trips earlier in the week produced well all over different areas on Table Rock in about 25 ft that's the magic depth right now😊

Eric was great, had us on fish all morning and was very helpful with explaining things so anyone could understand what to do no matter experience or skill level. We will be using him again.
Capt. Blake is a very versatile guide. He listens to his clients, and will adapt to their needs. Willing to change tactics, Capt. Blake switched baits and methods to make sure we caught fish. Both my buddy and I caught our limit (in September…one of the hardest months to catch trout on Tanneycomo) I would recommend him 100%!
