Starting to deep drop for swordfish now we dealing with the hurricane here on the East Coast but by this weekend, it should be cleared out. Fishing should be good.

blue fishing is still been very good around the sound in Hatteras. Also the red drum bite on cut bait has really picked up with the cooler water. Sheepshead fishing has been very good when you can get out on the wrecks outside the inlet or around the ferry basin on the Ocracoke side of Hatteras inlet using sand fleas and hermit crabs. As the winter progresses we will fishing in the Albemarle sound for stripers and targeting big catfish on the Roanoke River all winter. Has been great bluefishing casting sting silvers around the inlet along with some red drum on cut mullet and in the backwaters of the sound has been speckled trout and grey trout casting 1/4 oz jigs with zman 3 in minnowz in natural color
