About Your Trip

Ready to take your Outer Banks fishing experience to the next level? Join Captain Aaron out of Nags Head, NC for a 3/4 or full-day adventure that’s packed with action, variety, and unforgettable moments on the water. With more time to move around and dial in on different species, these trips are perfect for anglers who want to cover ground and get after the fish that make these waters famous.

On the 6-hour 3/4 day
trip, you’ll fish both the inshore and nearshore waters, giving you more flexibility to chase what’s biting best. You’ll target a range of hard-fighting, great-tasting species like Trout, Redfish (Drum), and if conditions are right, you’ll head out just a little farther to hunt for Mahi Mahi and Cobia. With light tackle in hand and Captain Aaron’s deep knowledge of the Currituck, Pamlico Sound and surrounding waters, you’ll have every opportunity to hook into a solid mix of fish and experience the thrill of changing up techniques as the day unfolds.

If you’re looking for the full Outer Banks fishing experience, Captain Aaron’s all-day trip is the way to go. This extended adventure is a full-on sight-casting mission, with a special focus on Redfish and Cobia. Getting up in the flybridge tower with the kids to spot fish cruising just beneath the surface is a highlight of this trip, and once the fish are in sight, it’s game on. Whether you're pitching live bait to a monster Cobia or casting our Cobiakiller jigs to Giant Reds, the full day offers nonstop opportunities to get in on the action. Captain Aaron also mixes in trolling spoons to cover more water and tempt Spanish Mackerel, small Mahi Mahi, and maybe even a few King Mackerel. And if you get your limit early, there’s always the option to head into the flats to chase smaller Redfish and Trout to round out the day.

Both trips are run aboard Captain Aaron’s beautifully restored 30’ custom Carolina performance boat, a classic 1990 Alex Willis hull powered by a 350 HP Yamaha engine. She’s fast, shallow-draft, and built to handle everything from narrow flats to open nearshore runs. The boat comes equipped with GPS, fishfinder, a live bait well, an icebox for your catch, and a flybridge that’s perfect for sight-fishing or just soaking in the Outer Banks views.

Captain Aaron provides everything you need—rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice, fishing licenses, and even fish cleaning and filleting after the trip. All you need to bring is your favorite snacks, drinks, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a cooler to bring your catch home. If you're fishing in the colder months, don’t forget to dress warm!

Whether you book the 3/4 day or go all in for the full-day adventure, you’re in for a trip that’s fun, flexible, and focused on catching fish. Captain Aaron has a passion for putting people on the bite and making memories that last—so bring the kids, bring the crew, and get ready for an Outer Banks fishing trip you won’t forget.

We offer custom light tackle charter fishing trips in the ocean and the sounds of the beautiful Outer Banks. I have been a licensed charter Captain for over 15 years and always willing to give our customers the attention and an amazing experience they deserve. I work as hard as anyone to make my clients enjoy the day and make sure they catch fish! I try to feel my clients out the best I can, when it comes to what species to target from day to day, or even through a tide change. Either way, having the local knowledge and a positive attitude, makes for a great day on the water. So, hop aboard and feel the drag scream next time your on the beach 🏖️

Tight lines!
