Good fishing on the oregon coast out of Nehalem and manzanita Oregon as well as in the Portland Oregon area. Our fall chinook run is strong and the fish are beautiful. Mainly catching these fish trolling with flashers and lures.

Sturgeon fish and catch and release continues to be awesome from Portland Oregon to the Oregon coast. We have had customers from all over the US having a great experience catching 4 to 8 foot fish. Here's a few pics from today.

My dad and I took an 8 hour guided trip on the Willamette. Ken is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and prepared. His equipment is all impressive and well maintained, he carefully explained safety procedures, he also happily shared a lot of valuable information with us about future fishing endeavors. We caught a 20 inch “15 lb” silver salmon. We will definitely book another trip with him, likely for springers!

Our crabbing trip exceeded my expectations. Craig's boat had comfortable seats. He offered us high quality lightweight life jackets (the blow-up kind). He told us the ocean was relatively calm and asked if we wanted to leave the bay and go out there. We did. He instructed us how to drop the crab pots, then entertained us (and our 4-year-old granddaughter) while we waited before checking the pots. We saw sea lions on a buoy; saw hundreds of jellyfish; learned about air bladders on fish like canary rockfish. our granddaughter got to view the radar screen showing where fish were. A first for any of our family: We caught our limit of crab, which Craig worked with my two sons to clean and cook for us. I felt completely safe with Craig. He is very knowledgeable and responsible; answered all my questions ahead of time. A wonderful, memorable day, well worth setting out before dawn.

When I moved to Oregon from Chicago 3 years ago, one of the “must do’s” was catch my first fish. Thanks to the instruction and encouragement from Captain Bryan, the fruits of this Labor Day trip resulted in reeling in a 17 lb salmon. I was thrilled. Our final cache for the day-one super salmon and 17 crab. Highly recommend this trip for to beauty of the bay, peek at the ocean, and a great combination of fishing and crabbing. We’ve already planned an ocean Coho trip on return. Captain Bryan was the perfect combination of encouraging, entertaining, and an excellent teacher. Counting the days until we can do it again!
