Tarpon and snook fishing has been consistent with over 5 fish per trip, Mahi mahi on the big game trips are in season and have been a secure catch sailfish are averaging 4 bites per boat on a full day.

Hey David... Got 2nd best boat and 2nd best angler on last week tourney.. Lost by 2 points after loosing 6 points on 3 fish of 8 we landed cause of the angle of the pic..

We were originally booked for a 6-hour deep sea fishing trip with Juan Carlos; however, the weather was a bit too rough, so our 6-hour was changed to a 4-hour reef fishing experience. Despite the change, Captain Juan helped us to provide memories that will last us a lifetime. He took us to many great fishing areas, where my 15 year old son caught a 5-foot barracuda, a huge mackerel and a giant tarpon. Needless to say, my son had the time of his life. Thank you Captain Juan for the great day! We'll be booking again when we return to Puerto Rico!

He worked hard the whole time making sure we always had fresh bait and switching up locations. He was great from the beginning meeting us when we arrived to the end cleaning and fileting our fish.

Trip: Puerto Rico Tarpon Excursion

We went out with Shag as our captain and his dog Marley. We were the first to the best spot and Shag never stopped working - chumming, resetting lines et al. I went with two buddies and all three of us landed big tarpin. He offered us soda, water etc too. Had great jokes and easy conversation. I would go back out with Shag in a minute and can't recommend him enough.
